The Friday League is a visual and performance art platform. 

 

It provides an opportunity for artists from a variety of artforms including animators, theatre practitioners, film makers and dancers to perform their work in the supportive, informal, charming home of Theatre Delicateseen.

 

These artists are part of a carefully curated programme devised by Caroline and Janina, full of unique work, covering a vast spectrum of art forms all stylishly bouncing off one another.  

 

We create events that bring the world of performance to new audiences, with digestible snapshots of a variety of art forms for non-theatre go'ers, "the acts provide a good excuse not to talk but also something to talk about in the breaks, and after that there’s the distraction of invading the stage to dance till Saturday morning" (Penny Atkinson, Editor, Bethnal Green Directory).

 

On top of our events, The Friday League is also an interactive performing company that regularly creates performance work and film throughout London, South East and South Lincolnshire, for outdoor events, festivals and performances.
